Needed an inexpensive overnight stay and happy with this hotel.
Location was a little out of the main tourist area but that suits me and it's an easy skytrain ride to those areas anyway . Rooms are basic , not recently renovated but still clean and comfortable. A well equipped gym and large pool is a bonus . It's good value at the price , just don't expect a resort. I've stayed here previously and when necessary will stay again.
I can't complain at the price I paid which was the same as shared dormitory accommodation in Bangkok .

Great facilities and affordable
Great pool and well-equipped gym. The staff are super friendly and there are also friendly cats at reception sometimes!! Room was big and comfortable with daily housekeeping if you need it.
A little old but worth it for value for money :)

The hotel has changed a lot the past years
I have stayed at this hotel so many times over the years and I keep coming back. My main reason for staying here is the pool and the gym and the good price and that they always give me privacy as well. There is also so much local food in the area and also now it is close to Icon Siam since that was built. Also It is a nice walk to the Chaopraya sky park.
The cleanliness has changed a lot since I was here the last time. It feels like they are no longer investing in the hotel. The bath room was actually very unclean and I have not experienced this before. I asked to have it cleaned extra carefully but still it was no change after cleaning. I am not going to go into details of the bathroom, you can imagine yourself. Unfortunately I would have to say the same about the rest of the room as well. It was very dissapointing. The opening hours for the gym has also changed, and they now only open from 11.00 which is a very inconvenient time if you like to exercise in the morning. I would have to say that I will probably give this old favorite hotel of mine another try, thanks to good old merits, but if nothing has changed by my next visit, I don't think I will be coming back.
